Our Purpose as an Association

Our primary purpose is to promote and develop the meat goat industry in Louisiana. Futhermore, this association will provide opportunities for the members to network and communicate to identify and address local industry development needs, such as 4-H and FFA.

New Forms Available!

The board of directors has voted to allow all ADGA sanctioned dairy breeds and Pygmy's to show without a LA bred tag in their ear starting in January, 2017. Tags will be required on leads and/or collars . Please watch for more info as soon as the rules requirements are written and finalized .

Any member in good standing with the association for at least 1 year can apply for a board seat. Any person wishing to run for a board seat must submit a letter of intent to run for a board seat, in writing or via email to me or  president Donna Heinrich on or before November 3 2016.
